Officers in Rhymney have had a few extra early starts this week!
Local officers along with officers from our Special Constabulary and Area Support teams worked together on 4 drugs warrants this week which have taken place in the High Street and Beulah Street area of Rhymney.
The warrants were as a result of local investigations along with information received from members of the public. A 41 year old man was charged with possession of Class A and Class B drugs and received a caution.
Rhymney local Inspector Andy O’Keefe said, “The warrants this week have been the result of partnership work between officers in Gwent and the local community. Investigations and work into the illegal use and supply of drugs in Rhymney is ongoing and I’d like to thank the local community for their support.”
